The "Geomet treatment coating" is a heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant coating that withstands temperatures of over 200°C. It is a water-soluble, environmentally friendly, completely chrome-free rust prevention coating and heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant surface treatment.
The main component of Geomet, zinc, provides sacrificial corrosion protection, making it resistant to rust even if the coating is scratched by flying stones, and it achieves high corrosion and heat resistance with a thin film (approximately 10μm).
Additionally, thanks to the Geomet jig treatment, various shapes of products, including thin plates, welded items, and bag shapes, can be processed.
【Features of Geomet treatment coating】
■ The coating is formed by baking at 360°C, providing excellent heat and corrosion resistance with a heat resistance temperature of over 200 degrees.
■ There is no process using phosphoric acid or acids, eliminating the possibility of brittleness.
■ The impact of shot on the weld area improves the adhesion of the Geomet coating.
■ The immersion and draining treatment allows the coating to be formed on welds, edges, and the inner surfaces of bag shapes.
■ Since the coating is not formed electrically, it can also be applied to welds and edges.
